As a means to support the government’s vision in helping improve the mining sector in the country, Nsuapemso Mining Ltd.. A cooperative mining company will collaborate with rCOMSDEP, MINCOM, EPA, and Elders of Nsuapemso this June 2026 in the Eastern region of Ghana to improve the mining system in Nsuapemso Town through the cooperative mining system.
This will be a follow-up of a successful pilot phase the government institutions embarked on in the western and western north regions designed to formalize and regulate the small-scale mining sector.
The Management of Nsuapemso Mining Ltd. Said they are ready to assemble all small-scale miners within the areas of Nsuapemso to undergo these exercises in order to help the youths who are into mining get protected in their mining business and also help account to the Gold Board as well as get profit to support their families and dreams.

The main worries of Nsuapemso Mining Ltd. are the presence of Narawa Company, whose permit has been suspended since November 2022 by the mineral commission of Ghana due to their illegal and irresponsible mining activities in the forest, rivers, and cocoa farmland areas at Nsuapemso.
Narawa has been collecting gold and money from illegal miners within Nsuapemso for over years since their permit was suspended, and their uncovered pits have caused over 5 deaths within the area.
Most families lost love once due to the poor mining system in the area, and so Nsuapemso Mining Ltd. has taken upon itself to help eradicate these unlawful mining practices in the area by introducing the cooperative mining system in the area.
The cooperative mining company’s Managements said they are ready to support any community that is ready for the change.
