A concern Nigerian association in Obuasi, Ghana has met the regional directors to help stop the bad attitude of the Nigerian youths in the district.
They made this known that most of the girls are convinced to come to Obuasi to do mining and other lucrative businesses but as soon as they arrive, their madams introduce them into the prostitution business. they get bind by rules such as they get paid only after their third transactions with the men they sleep with. the first transaction goes to the madam, second transaction goes to the rent owner before the next ones go to them personally.
the good Nigerian leaders also stated that they get worried when they see most of these Nigerian children home and on street instead of going to school.
The therefore pleaded with the leaders of the district to put measures in place to help prevent such bad name of Nigerians in Ghana.
According to them, what is very worrying about some of these youths is that they are always involved in Robbery and other unpleasant activities in the area.
