Earlier today, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the Member of Parliament for Takoradi, demonstrated his commitment to local economic enhancement by donating startup kits to over 500 aspiring entrepreneurs. This initiative, organized in collaboration with the Ghana Enterprise Agency (GEA), aims to promote wealth creation among the youth.
The donation ceremony brought together a diverse group of entrepreneurs, including hairdressers, tailors, barbers, tilers, caterers, and auto electricians. The objective of this contribution is to empower the recipients, boost their productivity, and foster new employment opportunities within Takoradi.
