On 24th June 2025, at the La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra Ghana, West Africa, the 100 Plus Women of Virtue, Inc. USA was launched in Ghana in partnership with the Women in Tourism Ghana.
Shannan “Lady” Ighodaro, President/CEO of 100 Plus Women of Virtue, Inc. led the team of 15 prominent women in business and industry who traveled from South Florida USA.
The President/CEO of the 100 Plus Women of Virtue, Inc., said the vision is to break barriers and build business opportunities for economic advancement, for cultural entrepreneurship, for women to get together in empowerment, and for bilateral trade opportunities.
Attending the launch were high-profile delegates such as
– Ambassador Nancy Sam (President, Women in Tourism Ghana)
– Hon. Mrs. Maame Efua (CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority)
– Dr. Gerda Williams (Florida Mental Health Practitioner, USA) and Executive Director of HERS.
– Mrs. Dolores Holley (Business Professional USA) and President of Green Holley Consulting Group
– Ms. Stellamarie Ndunge the CEO of Qatar Airline, Ghana.
As part of the mission to Ghana the delegation visited the Port of Tema and met with high level officials. Ms. Terrianne Mckenzie, South Florida businesswoman expressed confidence in doing business in Ghana, the Caribbean, and all parts of the world. The magnetic, successful, industrious business woman, called on other American investors to come over to Ghana to invest.
Mrs. Linda Holloway a South Florida businesswoman gave a steering performance of the popular song Boots on the ground. She added that they have their business boots now on the ground to help improve Ghana’s business and women’s development within the trade industry.
Mrs. Dolores Holley, a key member of the USA 100 Plus Women of Virtue, Inc. delegation USA, presented an empowering message on the role of women as global leaders.
The President/CEO of the organization, Shannan “Lady” Ighodaro, demonstrated real leadership as she expressed her vision to Ghanaians during visit to Ghana.
Dr. Lula Longley expressed her love and happiness in coming to Ghana and meeting the people, the experiences they have had and learned, and most of all how the Ghanaian people made them feel during their launch and business trip to Ghana hosted by Ambassador Nancy Sam (President of Women in Tourism Ghana).
